Brenmiller Energy (BNRG), an Israeli cleantech leader in the thermal energy storage sector, has seen its stock skyrocket by more than 300% in recent days. This surge follows a series of announcements to Nasdaq, where the company is traded. Notably, Brenmiller recently reported an increase in the potential order volume for its innovative energy storage solutions in the U.S. alone to approximately $210 million. Additionally, the company announced a new collaboration with Spanish firm REBI to supply 10 MWh of green heat for an upcoming project. Brenmiller also highlighted progress in implementing advanced cybersecurity measures in its facilities and the significant development of Israel’s first-of-its-kind thermal storage facility at Tempo Beverages Ltd., with a 32 MWh capacity designed to provide clean steam for production processes.
Last year, the company launched the next generation of its heat storage technology, the bGen ZERO, designed to electrify industrial heat processes. This innovation delivers heat at a clean, competitive cost without emissions. Additionally, Brenmiller’s groundbreaking production plant in Dimona, Israel – the first of its kind globally for commercial heat storage solutions—positions the company at the forefront of technological and operational excellence.
Another report indicated that the thermal
energy storage market is projected to grow to $63 billion by 2025. CEO and Chairman Avi Brenmiller stated, “The growing international recognition of our technology strengthens our resolve and reaffirms that we are on the right path to tackling global challenges like climate change and emission reduction. This is especially critical during these times of geopolitical instability and calls f
or an international boycott of Israel.”
Brenmiller is currently advancing seven projects worldwide, with a total backlog of $440 million in orders. According to Avi Brenmiller, thermal energy storage systems will soon become the global standard for clean energy storage in industrial and urban facilities. “The entities adopting our solutions today are the pioneers shaping the future,” he added.
Doron Brenmiller, CBO of Brenmiller Energy, emphasized the growing demand for the company’s heat storage systems, driven by local and global climate policies, rising energy costs, and reliability challenges in energy supply chains. “Forward-thinking organizations, recognizing the value of our reliable, cost-effective, and durable solutions. Our bGen ZERO technology enables these organizations to harness renewable energy and waste heat to produce clean steam, thermal oil, and hot air on demand, significantly reducing emissions and, in some cases, lowering fuel costs.”
Doron concluded, “Every organization that chooses our technology demonstrates immense trust in our innovation, and we are proud and honored to contribute to their sustainability efforts.”
